Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Skills & Resources

No prior expertise in the use of computer technology is needed! A wide range of easy to use and affordable technology is now available to dispute resolution professionals that can add value for parties. Participants will learn about and use a variety of the latest online and offline information technology, examine the elements that distinguish dispute resolution involving technology from the traditional face-to-face environment, and use case studies and role plays to illustrate technology-assisted mediator behaviors and requirements. The instructor is one of the founders, leading proponents, and users of online dispute resolution technology.

Note: Participants are required to bring a laptop computer to the session.  

Prerequisite: Mediation Skills and Process
