"Family mediation" usually means assisting parents with separating their marriage and still parent well. Yet many conflicts with which mediators assist are among intact families, raising different issues and dynamics. This course promotes decision-making and conflict resolution within intact family relationships, including premarital, parent/teen, spousal, elder care, and extended family issues. This course is ideal for mediators, counselors, attorneys, clergy, and others.

Prerequisite: Mediation Skills and Process & Family Mediation Skills
