Sam Jackson, JD
Sam Jackson is a Supreme Court of Virginia certified mediator and practicing attorney in McLean, Virginia. From 2010 to 2012, he was chair of the Virginia Alternative Dispute Resolution Joint Committee of the Virginia Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar. Jackson has also been president of the Virginia Mediation Network, the state’s association of mediators. Jackson served as a member of the ADR Advisory Council of the Division of Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) at the Supreme Court of Virginia and as a member of the DRS legislative and ethics committees, and on its Mediator Complaint Review Committee. For many years, Jackson has been co-chair of the Fairfax Bar Association’s Conciliation Program. As an adjunct professor of law, Jackson teaches alternative dispute resolution and negotiations at George Mason University School of Law and Georgetown University Law Center.
