Co-parenting Class: Two Parents, Two Homes

DCSE Co-Parenting Class Brochure

Learn about and share with others your experience in:

  • The challenges of parenting from separate homes
  • The challenges this poses for your child
  • How to be more involved in your child’s life
  • How to improve communication between you and your child’s other parent
  • The many ways to communicate with your child
  • Ways to prevent and resolve conflicts

Both parents are not required to attend, but may take the class together if they would like. This class is offered free of charge to parents with open Division of Child Support Enforcement cases by the Virginia Department of Social Services.

Class includes snacks and co-parenting manual, Two Parents, Two Homes, with additional parenting resources. A Certificate of Completion is also provided at the end of class.

Cost: $50 (unless you have an open case with Division of Child Support Enforcement, in which the fee is waived.)

This class is FREE for parents with an active DCSE case number. For all other parents, the class fee is $50. Class fee may be waived for parents who provide proof that their income is below $40,000/year. Please contact our office at clientservices@nvms.us after submitting this form for additional questions.
You must provide your DCSE case number in order to receive this service for free.
