As a professional, you are faced with ever-changing complexities in your roles, your organization, and your relationships. Perhaps you want to reach the next level in your career, keep from being overwhelmed by increasing demands, or become a more effective leader. The purpose of coaching is to help you review the situation you want to change and develop a plan to change it.
Coaching – a Catalyst
NVMS coaches are your allies. They work with you to clarify the areas in which you want to strengthen and develop a strategy to achieve it. Throughout the process they will be there to support you, provide you with honest feedback, a different perspective, and hold you accountable. They adhere to the ICF coaching philosophy putting special emphasis on the belief that “every client is creative, resourceful, and whole” (ICF Philosophy of Coaching).
Our coaches assist executives, managers, board members, employees, and teams as they find new ways to:

How It Works
Initial Assessment and Selecting the Right Coach
Selecting the right person for the job is one of the most important steps in this process. We will work with you to ensure that your coach will be a good match in terms of personality, experience, coaching style and flexibility.
You will engage in an initial conversation to determine the areas you wish to address through coaching. You will then have the opportunity to speak to 3-4 experienced coaches and select the one that best matches your preferences.
Your coach will work with you to identify specific goals and areas on which you want to work. They will then assist you in developing an action plan to achieve those objectives. Their role is to assist you in remaining focused and accountable, provide feedback, differing perspectives, motivation, support and encouragement.
Choose a Program Option
Each coaching relationship is different in length and frequency of sessions. The programs below are starting points that once selected will be tailored to your specific needs. Most sessions will run approximately 45 minutes to an hour, longer if debriefing an assessment.
Option A: 1-2 sessions – best for addressing immediate, short term situations – e.g. preparing for an upcoming negotiation, thinking through a project, addressing a conflict with a co-worker, preparing for a performance evaluation
Option B: 6 sessions or longer – best for working towards long term goals – e.g. strengthening a leadership skill or management style, a promotion, advancing career goals, etc.
