Court Certification

NVMS has been training mediators and enhancing individual conflict resolution skills for 30 years.

Conflict resolution skills are invaluable in our personal lives, at work, and in our communities. They give us the power to make a choice about our own behavior, the insight to better control difficult interactions with others, and the ability to act as a neutral third party in assisting others in resolving their disputes.

Programs At-A-Glance

NVMS designs and delivers intensive skill-based workshops to help people talk through conflicts when they arise. We offer training that helps individuals take themselves, their teams, and their organization to the next level, by saving time that’s often wasted on disagreements.

Our training is designed to teach the fundamental skills and processes to prevent, manage, and resolve conflict, including how to hold difficult conversations, disagree constructively, and communicate effectively. Through our programs, you will gain the confidence to identify, prevent and resolve conflicts before they negatively impact your organization and your life.

Workshops are designed with the adult learner in mind – combining theory, observation, experiential exercises and practice opportunities for meaningful and enduring learning. Courses are led by Conflict Resolution Subject Matter Experts with an average of 20 years of experience. Certificates of Completion are provided at the end of every session. Workshops are also approved by the Virginia Supreme Court for continuing mediator (CME) and by the Virginia Bar for continuing legal (CLE) education credits.
