BOARD ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT, RECOGNIZES RANDY JONES TOLL AND DANIEL RAINEY’S DEDICATED BOARD SERVICE
FAIRFAX, VA (September 16, 2020) – Long-time supporters Randy Jones Toll and Daniel Rainey have resigned from the Board of Directors of the Northern Virginia Mediation Service Conflict Resolution Center (NVMS CRC). Randy had been serving as President and Dan as Treasurer. Both also serve as mediators and trainers for NVMS.
NVMS welcomes Geoffrey Drucker as President of its Board of Directors. Geoff is a mediator and is on his second term on the Board. During his first term as President, Geoff presided over the transition to a new name and new executive director. He serves as the senior director of the American Health Law Association’s Dispute Resolution Service and teaches mediation at the George Washington University School of Law.
“Both Randy and Dan remained on the Board after their terms had expired to keep NVMS running smoothly as it hired and oriented a new executive director in the midst of a global pandemic. For several difficult months, Randy and Dan acted as the de facto executive director, putting aside both personal and professional needs and interests for the sake of a cause in which both strongly believe. The Conflict Resolution Center is grateful to Randy and Dan for their dedication and leadership and for the sacrifices they made. Both of them plan to remain active with the Center in new ways,” says Geoff Drucker.
